My Cousin Yesi
Hello, my name is Victor Contreras. I'm from Garden Grove, Ca and I currently lived in Garden Grove. I come from a Mexican culture and I’m constantly mistaken as a white person because of my skin and hair color. I'll be attending Rancho Alamitos High School next school year as a freshman. Going to high school is a new step in life I want to take and enjoy until my senior year ends. Looking forward into high I plan to take four years in Spanish classes. I plan to take two years in Spanish speakers two and the other two in Spanish AP. I'm also planning on joining clubs and be involved in school events and enjoy every little moment. I'm an awesome person to socialize with especially during the summer I like going to the beach and going to the movies. This summer I’m taking an ROP course in The Art of Graphic Design. In this class we are thought to use the Adobe Illustrator, Flash, Photoshop, and the Adobe In Design. This course teaches use to make icons, logos, designs, personalizing a name, masking a name, creating a map and even how to create a mini game. My teacher Ms. Nguyen has assign us to create this website so she could grade and view our work. Make sure you look through the website and I hope you enjoy all my work.
My plans for the future
What I’m looking forward into life is attending to a four-year university like UCSD or SDSU. UCSD is one of the best universities in California. One of my goals is to graduate from high school with honors and one of the highest GPA in the school. My plans are to move on in life after high school and move out from my parent’s house to go a university. When I move out I want to experience how it is trying to get everything I need without any help from my parents and survive with my knowledge.
Traveling

Something important to my family and me spending time together that's why we travel. I love travelling to new places I never being before and re-visiting places I have been to before like Mexico and Las Vegas. This summer I’m planning on going to a camp located next to a lake back in San Diego. During my 2011 spring break I went to Guadalajara, Mexico on a road trip from Arizona to Mexico. We travel for a week stopping to see new places. For example, last summer I went on a road trip from Garden Grove, California to El Paso, Texas. My family and I spend two months traveling and wondering around new places. What I like about traveling is staying in the fancy and luscious hotels. My family has a very good point about hotels. You have to pick the best hotel to feel good and secured. For New Year’s my aunt and my family planned the week by renting a 2011 Chevy Suburban and traveling to San Diego for 2 days and then going to Las Vegas for 6 days. I had a blast with my cousin Yesi and my brother. I enjoyed the DJ’s on the strip and staying at the Cesar Palace. One day i would like to visit Italy or Paris.
My Family
This picture only represents 1/3 of my family because truly my whole family is about 38 members just from my mom's family and counting my dad's family we would be a family of about 80 members. I enjoy spending time with my family because we are very reunited. We have some pretty good moments and some sad moments in life. When my grandfather past away my dad was very depressed and had trouble thinking what was going to happen next in his life. My dad had trouble accepting his father had past away. Soon or later we moved on and we where going through some great moments. This picture was recently taken in April during my spring break vacations in a very nice tourist place back in Mexico. Someone who isn't in this picture is my awesome cousin Yesenia who appears in the picture above in the Intro. My cousin has help me moving on and even checking my homework assignments. I love you Yesi.
My Friends
To start off i have many friends that truly care and show how much they appreciate me. One of my best friends is Mayra Vasquez and Anthony Banuelos they both like chilling with me. This summer Mayra and i have planned taking the ROP course because we both didn't want to stay home and nothing but watch TV and be on Facebook. On the other side Anthony and i have great times playing video games and when it's not too hot we go outside and play soccer for a few hours. I have a lot of friends like Carmen. Carmen and i had history in history. We spent a year in history class together. Carmen and i spent good times together and even bad times but we love each other. Another friend who really care about me was Ashely Acosta. Ashley and i had so much fun in History sitting next to each other. Ashley made me laugh so much that i got in trouble during class. I'll always say this "you don't pick your family, but you can pick your friends". So make the best of them.
My Hobbies
Well some of my hobbies are going to the movies and spend time with my friends and family. During my afternoons when i have nothing to do i like to read a book. Usually i'am the type of person who hates reading but when i feel like reading i read. This summer i'am planning on reading the book " I'am Number Four" and finish the whole series. Another of my hobbies is to hang out with my friends. My friend Mayra and i like to kick it after school and sometimes her mom gives me a ride after school but usually after we've hanged out.
